Lightweight Gig Bag for Baby Bass and other Electric Upright Basses

For quite a while now, customers will occasionally ask for a gig bag for the older Baby Bass that they just aqcuired with a worn out case (or none at all). Until now, we haven't really had anything to offer (or even a solid suggestion). We've recently come across this lightweight bag that might do the trick for you, especially if you just need a bag to keep the bass from getting marked up in your home, or just need a bag to protect the finish during local travel.

It's lightly padded and includes a couple of useful pockets; there's a long rectangular one on the side of the neck, and a big square-ish one on the lower back. It also features nice heavy zippers, a shoulder strap with a pad, and good handles. Like our full-size bass bags, there is a small zipper on the one side of the lower bout, and a longer zipper which runs from the endpin all the way up to near the pegbox. The dual zipper arrangement leaves space for the endpin to remain out at whatever length you prefer, so you can set the bass down without worrying about damaging the body. The inside of the case is lined with a smooth fabric to protect your bass' finish.

While this ain't a heavy-duty, super-padded bag for interstellar travel - it is a well-made, lightweight and durable bag that might just fit your Baby Bass (or other EUB).



IMPORTANT NOTE: Please measure your instrument and compare it to our measurements before purchasing. We have not test-fitted this case on a Baby Bass, Palatino, Azola, etc. - we don't have one here to try - and as such, we cannot tell you with any degree of certainty if it will fit your particular bass -- Baby Bass or not. We simply don't (and couldn't) know! That's why we've carefully measured as many relevant dimensions as possible; to provide you with the information you'll need to determine whether it will fit.
