Pernambuco Bows
I am delighted to announce that the maker of my well-reviewed Brazilwood bows is now making Pernambuco bows available. They are the same fine quality as my Brazilwood bows, and have octagonal Pernambuco sticks with a fully lined ebony frog. The French bows weigh around 125 grams, with the German/Butler at about 132 grams. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not Joe Arco, but they feel very "lively" and precise, but I'll wisely leave that to those better versed (and practiced) in bowing skills - but excellent reviews for my brazilwood bows over the last several years speak for themselves, and these are from the same maker.
All bows have black horsehair (photo to be updated soon!), and are considered 3/4 size (there are no strict rules on sizing). The French bow is 27¼ inches end to end, with about a 20¾ inch hair length. The German bow is 29 7/8 inches end to end, with about a 22 3/8 inch hair length.
German/Butler Style (top) and French Style (bottom) bows available

Here is what some of our customers think about this product:

Hey Bob and Mark, My concert bow cost nearly 4 times as much as your pernambuco bow, but the tone and quality of your bow is almost the same! Now I have 2 great bows to use while the other is being rehaired. What a deal!!! Thanks!!

You guys are good! I received my Pernambuco Bow today, about 48 hours after ordering it, and I'm knocked out by how nice it is. Feels very solid and balanced, and it looks beautiful. Thanks very much for the excellent service and product. I'm a happy man.
