This durable but extremely lightweight "space age" composite tailpiece from Wittner is designed to maximize your bass' performance; it weighs a mere 5.4 ounces. It is a common school of thought that a tailpiece of lower mass has a positive impact on your sound, and this one was designed with that in mind. Attractive and traditionally styled, with a matte black finish.

It has vertically oriented mount holes, allowing you to use virtually any conventional rear-mounted tailgut you choose - both our nylon tailgut and stranded steel tailgut will work with this tailpiece.
