Wittner Lightweight composite Tailpiece for Upright Bass

This durable but extremely lightweight "space age" composite tailpiece from Wittner is designed to maximize your bass' performance; it weighs a mere 5.4 ounces. It is a common school of thought that a tailpiece of lower mass has a positive impact on your sound, and this one was designed with that in mind. Attractive and traditionally styled, with a matte black finish.

No tailpiece cable (tailgut) is included; you can use your existing one or purchase a new one (see related items). It has vertically oriented mount holes, allowing you to use virtually any conventional rear-mounted tailgut you choose - our nylon tailgut and stranded steel tailguts will work with this tailpiece.
