EA has pushed the speaker technology envelope one more time. The new iAmp500 Wizzy Combo uses the same clever 12" speaker cone design and Transmission Line cabinet as the original Wizzy combo, except now - along with its innovative and musical tone shaping section - it has the power of the 500 watt, Class D power amp of the iAmp500. It also makes all that power without the noise or inconvenience of a cooling fan.

The added wattage of this new combo provides extra headroom for those gigs where you're pushing the envelope, volume-wise. This is a seriously loud and lightweight full range combo that is expandable as needed. You can even add a second, regular (unpowered) Wizzy cabinet for even more demanding performance situations; the iAmp500 head has the juice (and the additional speaker output) to do it.

The loudspeaker is actually a dual-cone device which simultaneously produces low and high frequency signals from a single voice coil. The transmission line enclosure has been painstakingly tuned for an aggressive but pleasing sound. There are no crossover components to distort or alter the response.

The iAmp500 combo is perfect for upright, electric upright and bass guitar players in a large variety of venues from big to small.
